Last night Zack went to a rabbit show in Topsfield MA. It was a double open show that didn't start until 6pm. We decided that he'd only do one show. Zack had two goals for this show one was to meet up with some friends that were interested in his Thrianta babies he had for sale. And to see how three of his new Hollands did on the table. Zack has never shown his Holland Lops in open before, only his other breeds. But this was only an open show. And he wanted to hear what the judge had to say about his new ones so he knew his probably wouldn't do so good on the table up against the other breeders. Besides his new holland lops he also took Butch. Well Butch won Best of Breed for the Holland Lops. There were 100 other Holland Lop rabbits that he was up against. To see Zackary's face when the judge annouced that Butch would be Best of Breed was priceless. The other people Zack was up against were all people that Zack has admired and been talking to since he started do rabbit shows. I'm not sure who was more surprised the other people that he beat or Zackary. One of the ladies there that Zack had gotten a doe from came over to me and said I can't believe he beat me.
