Freedom Fishing Derby 2014

This is Zack's last year doing the fishing derby's.  So even though it rained hard right before we left he still wanted to go.  The kids had a blast.

                                          We make the kids wear life jackets when they are near the water. All the kids complain so these two decided to put the jackets on to shut Karen and I up but they did it their way. It lasted about two minutes till they turned them around the right way.

Topsfield Spring Show

Zack and Madison went to the spring Topsfield Show.  This was Rusty's first win.

Dog Pampering Day

Today the boys took the 3 dogs( we only have 2, the other dog is my Dad's) to the groomers. They have never been groomed before. And all needed it. We thought with all of Ginger's hair she would be the hardest but it turned out to be Rex that they had the most trouble getting all his dead hair off.

Easter Egg Hunt 2014

Every year that we have lived on the farm we have done an egg hunt for the kids.  We started it when we moved in mainly because the boys had aged out of the Rec egg hunt and it was something we could do as a family.  Last year we even invited Madison's friend to come and she wanted to  come again this year.

                                          Arron wrote a silly poem explaining the directions to the kids and this year we even added a special egg with $5.00 in it for the person to keep if they found it.

Very Long Day of 4-H

We started out with the Voyager's testing their Sea Perch's, Then it was time for a quick meeting, start working on a project for Farm Day, and then the cake decorating.

                                          They were one of the first groups to get there's out in the water working right off the bat.

                                            Then it was back to the center.  The kids were working on making balloon animals for Farm Day. Zack is done with step one. Blowing up the balloon.

                                          Madison was ready for step 2 as well.

                                          Now he's trying to do it again.

                                          First one done.  And waiting for directions to frost the cake.

                                           Madison and Kloey went for Red but it came out more pink.

                                           Since it two days before Easter Karen choose an Easter design for the kids to make.  Or they could do what they wanted.
