Day #33

Today we put the remaining steel on the right side of the barn. Even A.J helped out.

Day #32

We cased and framed the eves and then added the steel on top.

A.J took a cooking class last year for a credit and it turns out he's pretty good at cooking and grilling. So today to wanted to finally try to make blackberry jam with the blackberries he picked outback. So we did. And then he set off to make zucchini bread with a zucchini we got from one of our neighbors. He was very pleased with how everything had come out. He's turning into quite a good cheif.

Blackberry Jam

A.J found a big blackberry patch outback. He wanted to know if he picked enough if we could make Blackberry Jam. I told him we'd try. So today we set out to make it. It was a very small batch but he was happy that we tried it. Now he can't wait to eat it.
