Skiing

This year the kids finally got a chance to get back on the mountain and ski.  Zack and Madison loved it but A.J not so much.

                                         Zack doing his turn
Madison had a little harder time remembering how to ski.  So she spent a lot of time on the magic carpet. She was to afraid of falling.
Not to mention that she wasn't feeling that well either.

Pig Day

This was the first time we have ever done anything like this before.  And only ended up taking care of the pigs ourselves because of the price everyone else wanted to charge for doing it. I had to drop the baby off that morning so Megan had my camara while I was gone. And boy did she enjoy this whole process.  I only choose a few of her photos to give you an idea what steps we took.  It was hard to choose from all the ones she took from beginning to end.
Zack and A.J giving Lunch her last bath
Arron and Dad working on getting the hair off
Madison's turn to help. You can see the smooth white skin is the parts that's been done and the darker spot is left to do.
Last step to do before hanging it up for the night
Team work to get it to the garage to be hung
The kids were all excited to help guide Dinner up for her turn.  Notice all the extra kids.  Some how we ended up sleepovers  while doing this so there was always people coming and going all weekend when this process was going on.
Tyler watching Zack get the gun ready
Megan waiting for her turn to help get the hair off.

Turkey's this year

Madison was in charge of the  Turkey's this year and she did very well.
Like most year's we had mainly Tom's
Even the Hen's are good size. The biggest this year was 43 pounds and the smallest was 22 pounds.

The Emperor's New Clothes

This year's play was The Emperor's New Clothes. And the kids did a great job like they do every year. It's so fun to watch them go from Monday morning getting their lines parts to Saturday when they put the whole thing together. The Stage Company does a wonderful job working with the kids.
Madison and Kailey hanging out before showtime
Most of the cast.  I think we only had 30-35 kids this year. Which was way down from last year but they all did great.
Madison wasn't happy about having to wear the bonnet.
                                          The town's folk
And a closer photo of Madison with some of the other kids.
